Dataframe contains 4 columns as follows:
price1 - contains prices in a list
price2 - contains prices in a list
size1 - contains sizes in a list correspond to each each price in price1
size2 - contains sizes in a list correspond to each each price in price2
i want to get two new columns
price_best - contains the price1 combined with price2 with no dupes
size_best - contains the corresponding size to price_best. If there was a dupe price that was in both price1 and price2 this should be the sum of size from size1 and size2 corresponding to that price entry.
i included a sample showing how the data is in the DF and the end result.
I am current using apply to do this but it is painfully slow. I am able to store the data in another format if need be if there is a faster way to get this end result.
