Senior Python / Django / Restful API Developer -- 2

Seeking immediate resources for a potentially long term position. We are in need of a senior-level Python / Django / Restful API developer to assist our team with work on the existing SAAS platform. You MUST be senior level and ability to understand complex tasks and work independently. You must also be ready to start immediately and have a minimum availability of 20 hours per week. Start your bid with 'banana' in the beginning so we will know you read this job desc. • At least 4+ years of experience developing back end applications using Python, Django and PostgreSQL with experience in all phases of the software development life cycle. • 2+ years of experience developing REST APIs using the Django Rest Framework. • Ability to develop reusable, testable and efficient code. • Knowledge of security and data protection. • Maintain existing code and develop new features. • Work experience with remote teams. • 4+ years of experience with configuration management systems using GIT. • Experience with development operations using JIRA. • Experience working in an agile environment and be responsive to client and business needs. • Self-motivated to make improvements and identify needed enhancements. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. • Experience managing and implementing continuous delivery for web applications. • At least Intermediate English
