In the mingle plugin that I'm using for Skyball there are "friends" like facebook, which are a one-to-one relationship. Meaning you must request friendship and it be accepted by the person before the connection takes place. (I have modified it in Skyball so that it's a team-player relationship, but that doesn't matter.) I need to duplicate this, but make it a one-to-many relationship, or a "follow" relationship. So, I can follow a team, player, etc, any profile by clicking a "Follow" button in the "Connect with" box on the person's profile page. I believe a lot of the code can be duplicated from the friend classes in order to make this happen, but obviously must be modified a bit as it won't need the request functionality. I would like there to be a "following" box on the person's profile (similar to the one on a profile page that shows the person's friends). The box should have a Show All link, just like the friends box, that goes to a page that lists who the person is following (like the team page: [login to view URL]). The following page can be the same format, but displaying "Who matt is Following" Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
