Hi, I wrote the first web scraper using Perl about 12 years ago and have since written several scrapers using tools like WWW::Mechanize. More recently used Mojolicious framework with Selenium to scrape the sites shich use Javascript heavily. I can scrape sites like the one listed on job description using Selenium/PhantomJS and Perl. I can also overcome the restirctions posed by the site. More details about my experience - * I have over 12 years experience developing web and back-end applications using Perl. All of this is on Unix/Linux operating systems. Bash, Screen and the Vi editor is the IDE for me. * I have worked on modern Perl including Moose OO framework. * Have used DBIx and DBI to manipulate data stored in DBMSes including PostGreSQL, Oracle and MySQL. * I'm quite comfortable with jQuery and JSON. * Have good exposure to PostGreSQL and have recently involved in writing stored procedures/functions using PL/pgSQL and PL/pgPerl. * Have used Perl best practices and Perl critic frameworks to avoid pitfalls and optimize code. * Have been involved in test driven development in agile development environment. I've created scrappers that retrieve HTML pages from third-party web site and use Perl Regular Expressions to extract relevant product prices and descriptions. I can perform this job if your scrappers perform similar task.
