Extract messages from whatsapp desktop

I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows using C or C++. This project is about manipulating the whatsapp desktop version . Basically where the display of the messsges and also the image files etc are seen in the screen of this program, our project is to extract those info and then save it into my database. Are you able to do that ? Please note that there is also a web version of whatsapp but it's not suitable for our project.
