Splunk BOTS 3.0 Documentation

I would like help installing BOTS 3.0 on a free Splunk Enterprise platform. The directions need to be written with screen captures etc. The directions will be going to students, faculty, and staff for a course I am developing.

I was using this:

I got stuck with all the add-ons.

I could not untar/unzip the files.

I could not see for sure the data was in Splunk Free Enteprise.
