We have a small mySQL database.
We replicate this database to several other systems.
We had to re-install one of those systems and now the replication to that new system isn't working correctly anymore.
What is happening is that only some records are replicated to the "new" slave.
For example:
DOMAINS table has 68 records on the MASTER and only 6 on the newly installed slave
RECORDS tables has 679 records on the MASTER and only 65 on the newly installed slave.
We already installed a 2nd new slave, just to be sure :-) and same issue most of the records are not replicated to the slaves.
If we do a "show slave status\G" on new_slave_1 (or 2) we see that
master_log_file = mysql-bin.000009 (same as on the master)
read_master_log_pos=2788 (same as on the master)
Slave_IO_Running=yes
Slave_SQL_Runnung=yes
(on "old_slave_1" we get the same, but then with the correct record counts)
If we add new records on MASTER, then they are replicated correctly to the newly installed slaves too.
We can NOT give access to the master system as this is a production system.
If needed (but we prefer not to give this) we can give you access to one of the new slaves (SSH).
The purpose of this project is to get everything to replicate correctly and continue to work :-)
I guess we will get some "instructions" from you on how to get the replication back to work. We will test this on a new install too, just to be sure your instructions are complete.
