I am looking for a device to keep track that mother has not separated from infant ie, for leaving the house to go to shop across road, etc. The ankle device on the mother would be connected with the ankle unit on the baby. On separation, an notification alarm would be sent to a remote server application. This would be designed through open source if possible.
The age of the infant is 1 to 3 years so the infant ankle unit would have to be small and wearable friendly.
