You have to design a small container with three housings and its three separate taps connected to each separately. That means, non of these solvent should get mixed anytime. Container capacity will be about 150ml -200ml. And will carry liquid with density more of skimmed milk. You have to come with a design approach of a electronically controlled tap which will allow to pass liquid in measure of ml. Measurement will be in ml, that means, electronically it will be signaled to pass 1 ml or 2 ml or 3 ml up-to 20 ml. Also, as solvent settles at bottom of container after leaving it for some time, so container has to be shaken well before releasing liquid. Your challenge is how to achieve it with a cheaper solution yet maintaining accuracy.
Cost of end product is a very critical on selecting design to go with.
If you take part in this contest then it is important for me to contact you based on your design approach. So please don't forget to share along with when taking part.
As a solution you need to provide me the complete design which I could post to my vendor for creating physical model. Embedded/electronics part is our responsibility, you have to come up with mechanical design along with any motor you are using, such as stepper motor or DC motor, etc (just for example, please don't get biased by it). More the ready solution available, better for us to go with.
Thank you.
Dear Sir,
I can make this model for you.
Anyway I have to point some issues with your concept design:
- you said is necessary that the housings to be well shaked before liquid release - this can't be properly done if the housing are attached to the main tank
- you put the housings into a block of material - will be easier and more economic if each housing to be cylindrical and separated from each others
- in order the system to work accordingly with requirments, is not enough to have a controled tap - this solution will imply to have a measuring system (flowmeter) which to control the tap - a better solution is to use standard syringe pumps which includes liner measuring elements, so you could control very accurately the amount of liquid and also have a highest repetability (99%)
If you'll assign me this bid, I'll be glad to design it for you and to indicate all the components, including where from to be purchased.

Hi,
I am a Solidworks expert with 4 years of experience in CAD modeling. Additionally, I've done CAD designs for various setups to be installed at multiple events.
Regarding the task you described, I am confident I can finish it in minimum time. Additionally I will provide 100% support for all alterations and modifications until you are COMPLETELY satisfied with the final result. I have one year experience with 3D Priniting parts.
I am looking forward to discussing this project further with you.
Ahmed
I already can think of three concepts and a solution for you. I will give you rough idea on working principle and required electronics. Final dimensions you will need to specify but I will assist you. Project is interesting and should be a breeze.
