Hi I am 3D printer user ( i owned it at home) and CAD'er as well, some suggestion - your top 10 poles need to be bigger, they will be easily break on the current design - you should print it with >50 % infill - you have to set up support for overhanging feature thanks ujang

For some of my projects, I'm also doing the physical prototype too. I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years of experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. Downloaded and checked the model - it is clear what is wrong with the model, but unfortunately a stl file can't be edited (will need conversion to another parametric cad format, and after this to be edited) The best solution is to rebuild it from scratch following the proper techniques and limitations. Another good point, is to have the model divided into several parts (better for 3d printing, shipping, and also may be fun for kids to paint and assemble :) ) For any more questions, we could chat here, including the whole details of the project, final price, time frame, deliverables, etc, etc... Hi, I can see the issues with the model where it won't print correctly. I can make the changes in Fusion 360 instead of TinkerCAD to make the model 3D printable. Hello! I have looked at your model, and the only issue I can find so far involves the dimensions of the supports at the top where the circular ring is attached to the model. I would recommend increasing the diameter of those supports, so that the top ring does not break off accidentally. I can send this model to the 3d printer for you if you'd like. I have one one site. The app. print time is 20 hours and 44 minutes (with support material). I can even ship it to you, if you live in the U.S. lower 48 states Your model is only printable with support material in place. Support material will be used to make sure that your model is doesn't sag or droop during the print process, making things like overhangs and bridges less problematic. Your model has both an overhang and bridges which usually causes problems, if not printing with support material. After your model is printed, the support material can be removed, and any surface marks can be sanded away. Removing support material can place stress on the supports of your design, which may result in breakage. I would, again advise an increase in the diameter of those supports.
