Busy professional in need of a computer savvy, self-driven, motivated, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant. As the head of an eLearning company, there are many tasks that need to be done and I'm looking for that right-hand guy or gal that can help me get them done throughout the week. What you can expect from me: - Friendly, but expect the best from people in business - Professional - Organized - Don't like micro-managing - so don't put me in the position to do so - Self-starter with lots of initiative, expect the same from you - Love learning new things (techie and non-techie), expect you to do the same - how else do we grow in life... What I expect from you: Apart from some of the items listed above, my Virtual Assistant will need to possess the following skills and attributes: - Organized: You'll be expected to do multiple tasks and I need someone that can be organized to track their progress through those tasks and keep me updated on that progress without letting those tasks fall through the cracks. - Detail Oriented: My VA needs to be able to read between the lines and make sure the details of all tasks are covered. - Learner: I don't like people that assume things, if you have questions - ask them! If you're in doubt about a task, ask me! - Professional: My VA will need to understand and know how to properly communicate with clients and other business professionals via phone and email. You will be handling my calls, making some calls back to other business professionals (prospects and clients), as well as taking care of other communication tasks that will require you to be professional at all times. - Communication: This one is very important. You'll need to be available through Skype, mobile phone/text, and email. I expect call backs and responses via email/Skype within 15 minutes during business hours. Some tasks are not time sensitive but others might be and I need my VA to be available. Also, you should have excellent command of the English language - you will be working with my US Based clients and contacts. - Availability: As a VA you know the importance of being available during normal business hours for your clients. Because tasks will be sent to you throughout the day/week, not all tasks are Urgent or Top Priority and you will be provided guidance on this. However, those that are top priority will need to be handled within the time frame of having received the task so you should be available to work on tasks throughout the day - Monday through Friday 9 am through 6 pm. If you know you're going to be out or cannot work on a certain day, please communicate this with me prior to your non-availability and not the day of (unless you're sick and that's understandable). - Computer Savvy: You'll be working with a computer savvy professional, that's a quick learner in all things web and tech. I don't expect you to be a tech professional, but you should know your way around Microsoft Office and be willing to learn new software on your own time to help increase your value and offering. - Tech Must-Haves: Fast and dependable internet connection (if you're overseas and applying for this position - please do not apply if you do not have a dependable connection every day). Fast computer with the latest operating system software installed (For Windows - at least Windows 7, For Mac - at least OSX Mountain Lion) If you feel you're up for the challenge and are ready to strut your VA Skills, bid for the position and let me know why you would be perfect for this position as well as if you meet our requirements.

Hello, I am a computer savvy, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant. I have been in an office environment for over 19 years, answering telephones, communicating via written correspondence and email with various business clients and prospective customers. I am always learning more about computers and software wherever I can along with other interesting subjects along the way. For the past four years, I have been an Assistant to a small business owner running four businesses simultaneously. I am responsible for project management, scheduling, communication with clients and contractors, vendors and more. In the last four years, I have been responsible for learning, and using, Website Content Management System software such as WordPress and ModX, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop and html coding. I am very familiar with Microsoft Office software and the Windows Operating systems. I am located in the CST zone and am available from 8 am my time to 8 pm. My hours are adjustable depending on my client's needs. I am very big on communication and will not hold back questions if there are any.
