Web Scraper Project with Corresponding Charts

Thank you for viewing my project. I've tried to include a detail outline of the job below. Please only apply if you know you can complete the project. 1.1 - Create a function similar that scrapes ebay for sold listings. It then returns the sold listings - Ultimately, we will need to scrape ebay for whatever search string is entered by a user on the front end of our website, and return sold results that match. That includes accepted best offer pricing. I have other sites we can use as examples to understand better what we're trying to accomplish. PLEASE ASK FOR THEM. 1.2 Must figure out a way to come up with clean data in the results. This may include using exclusions. I'm open to hearing ideas on how to achieve this. People try to exploit ebay's search feature by putting keywords in the title when it shouldn't be. So the challenge is making sure we only get the data the searcher is looking for. Ultimately, we will need to determine the best way to only have the query return results from items that closely match their search. One example is if someone is looking for one item, but an auction contains a "lot". Let's say I'm looking to buy one coffee cup. I want to look up previous sales to determine the price that coffee cups are selling for. I type in "red coffee cup". The issue is that by just using those words, the results could return things like "Six Coffee Cup Value Pack". In that case, the price will be much higher, skewing my results for the next step. We have to figure out how to eliminate the listings that are not one "red coffee cup". I can give other in depth examples more specific to my site once we are talking. We will likely need to use exclusions. But we'll need to come up with some efficient way to keep the data clean. 2.1 The next part is plotting the data into a graph. This could be a separate job after the first, if it makes more sense. As the data is placed into a database, we'd like to plot this data into a graph that corresponds with sale price and date. This line graph could then be narrowed down to one single day or as broad as the entire time frame that is available. This feature would only be created through the back end. It would not be a front end search feature, so it would not have to be pretty. Here is how it would work, using the example above. I would go to the back end search feature and type in "red coffee cup". I would then be able to take that data and place the chart on a page that is specific to that for my members. Continuing the example, I would have a page titled Coffee Cup's. So in that page, there would be a place for sales history charts to be visualized. But I would choose the data beforehand for the user to see. So we would possibly have checkboxes to sift through different "coffee cup" charts that I had already set up. One would be "Red Coffee Cup", while another may be "Blue Coffee Cup". I know this part can be confusing, but it is something we can discuss more in detail. Ultimately I would create the pick the data to show in the chart to the web user, but they would be able to sort through the data that is available and zoom in and out of the date timelines. Our website is designed in wordpress. This project will probably take more communication to understand fully, but I'd love to chat with you about it.
