I am looking for a web designer to revamp an existing site: vhotgirl.com. If it is possible to look at the site, please do so before bidding so that you know what I am trying to do.
As you can see, the site has not been updated in three years and I want to make many changes:
1) the font (not sure which, but the existing type is difficult to read so something bolder and/or larger) and the color of the font changed (to hot pink or red);
2) the layout using pictures of ME in a main menu design.
3) the pictures to be in one gallery as thumbnails - either one thumbnail that represents each "set" of pictures, or individual thumbs for each pic, that can be seen and chosen, all from one page.
4) add new pictures to the existing gallery of pictures -- and I may be talking about another 20-40 pictures.
5) add three short video clips approx. 30 sec to 1 minute long.
6) change existing text and replace with new text - probably in the "about me" and not nearly so spread out or wordy.
7) keep link page
8) change the layout and picture on the contact page and add a bit more information to it about my services, scheduling appointments, etc. I would provide this additional text. (If it is possible to create some kind of sillouette with my image that can be used as a logo on the contact page, that would be great too.)
9) Main menu would have the following options: About Me, Gallery, Video, Contact, Links
10) most importantly I want the site to be easily navigated.
I really do not like the way the gallery is set up now, the pictures are spread over 3-5 pages and you have to scroll and click through each page to view all of the pics. This is very confusing and time consuming.
I am not technically savvy but I do know what I want. I have samples of websites I can reference if you need ideas. I do not need anything flashy, but if you are inspired to do something fun and playful with the site's look, I am all for that.
I do not have a large budget for this project, but I hope that whatever is done will be an improvement.
