Build A community engagement website

Please provide References and evidence of previous works similar to this project.(url, client name, client contact details etc...) using wordpress prefer Hart District Council is inviting quotes from web designers, agencies or consultants to create, host and maintain a community engagement website for a Garden Community we are exploring within Hart District. The work is specifically to build the front and backend technical applications. A design agency, as a separate piece of work, will create the brand identity, including any graphics or photography to be applied to the website. The website helps to build a sense of community, engagement and gives readers a reason to keep coming back The successful bidder should demonstrate their knowledge and prior experience of building a website where community engagement for a project is the main purpose. The successful bidder must provide details for domain name purchase, SSL certificate, business continuity, technical support and maintenance. The successful bidder must ensure the website is GDPR compliant and that data is stored on a server in the UK. the scope of the work is to create the technical functionality for the front and back end of the website. A design agency will create the brand identity, graphics and any illustrations or photography to go on the site. The work will be in two phases, the first to be launched on 15th February 2021 and the second to be completed by 26th April 2021. The website must have the capability of adding new pages after going live. The website must have an interface for capturing comments and ideas from community stakeholders on what they want to see from a new Garden Community in Hart The website must have the ability to create new pages and upload content to give community members the information they need to make decisions and give feedback The website must have the functionality to show analytics like visitor numbers over time, comments and newsletter subscribe numbers. The website should have the ability to quickly generate reports from the analytics viewed in the back end of the website. This function may use AI capabilities to quickly collate and understand large numbers of comments The website must safely and securely collect and store community engagement data, like email addresses for newsletters and responses left on the website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations for the UK The website must have the capability to embed social media and display content like latest tweets The website must comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standard accessibility guidelines The website could make it easy to send out branded email newsletters, either through a dedicated tool or through a plugin like Mailchimp The initial top level navigation pages could be as follows (Home, About, Ideas Board, Stakeholder Forum, News, Community Engagement, Contact and FAQ) The website should include the following technical specification: o Ability to load docs and images as well as other media without HTML knowledge and manage web content for all areas of the site easily using WYSIWYG editor o Form creation and management tool including database to store form submission o Ability to preview pages before publication o Allow rollback of web content to previous version o A testing environment o Web pages that can be optimised for SEO o Web pages that work efficiently on different screen sizes o Friendly URL’s o Ability to crop images o Standard internal page template including timestamp when the page was last reviewed The successful bidder also needs to provide the following: a) A user guide b) Training for a small project team (three or four people) c) Support options after going live d) Technical specifications and deadlines needed for the branding agency to provide logos, graphics or photography at the correct size
