I am the mother of a 15 year old son with Down syndrome. I have been a advocate and peer counselor for 12 years. I want to create a website that celebrates and educates other about people with DS. I also want to incorporate a YouTube channel with my son as the host. We will be interviewing people with DS of all ages, to show how similar these people are to others. We want to showcase all the aspects of their lives from birth to adulthood.
I need a website for a blog and retail store. It is called Down Syndrome Living.
Its website to build acceptance and knowledge of the lives of people with Down syndrome. I will sell products like shirts, mugs, and other swag. These items will be products created by people with DS. I will be looking for SEO, social media marketing and management of the site.
I will also need someone with YouTube channel experience to help me develop the channel and market it. I know Nothing about how YouTube works. I've only been a watcher.
I have taken a comprehensive course on blogging and I do know how to manage the the blog. I want someone I can rely on to manage the site long term. I want to be the creator of articles and products, but I need someone to put things on the site and optimize it.
I also want advertisements that provide income and I will be doing affiliate marketing. I have plan on doing Amazo s affiliate program.
