Hi,
I need a software that on each user login automaticely checks a computer for its configuration. Intention is hat this helps in software administration in big companies.
This should be Windows service working on NT4.0, 2000, XP, Vista, that runs a specified remote script with admin priviliges.
(If there is a problem, NT4.0 may be not required).
Should be simple i.e. installable without any additional software (like .NET). I expect to get source code as well as binaries.
How it should work:
There are 2 files: [login to view URL], config.txt.
Setup installs NT service and starts it using [login to view URL] confguration file. The configuration file is copied into such location that is used on each service start (should be editable by admin in the future, I suggest windows path). The service starts on each computer start.
On each user login the service reads remote path from [login to view URL] (for example: //server/path/to/script/[login to view URL]).
Then the service runs the [login to view URL] locally under admin priviliges.
Script [login to view URL] shall be like:
========
route -p add [login to view URL] mask [login to view URL] [login to view URL]
arp -s [login to view URL] 00-0e-0c-4b-44-99
arp -a >> smbkomputery%USERNAME%.txt
[login to view URL] ukryty=tak linuxkomputerylog
========
(But do not assume precise content of the script, this is given for testing purposes only).
