Nortek requires a DVR player desktop Application for multiple platforms, to include at least PC & Mac, and Linux if possible (but not essential). The software will need to playback .avi format video files recorded on a third party Car DVR and to display the embedded G-Shock and Speed information on the player as well as the GPS position data, on a scrolling map.
It is believed that the GPS Data is embedded in the Video File as a RIFF AVI format
