Fix numbering issues in my Word template

I've created a template in Word based on styles. I'm having terrible trouble with the numbering. My Heading 3 keeps blacking out and when I use Heading 3 and Heading 4 following on from the second time, the numbering continues from above. When I try to restart at (a) or (i), it goes out of alignment and sometimes spacing changes. Below are the numbering levels required in the doc and I’ve set the indenting how I want it to be in the doc: 1. Heading 1 1.1 Heading 2 (a) Heading 3 (i) Heading 4 (A) Heading 5 (can the Freelancer expert please add this level in) 2. Heading 1 2.1 Heading 2 (a) Heading 3 (i) Heading 4 (A) Heading 5 (can the Freelancer expert please add this level in) With Heading 2, we do not require any further numbering (ie, 1.1.1, 1.1.1.1 & 2.1.1 etc). If you press the indent keys, this level of numbering exists in the template and throws things out. So can you get rid of all those levels from the template? We would like you to add in one more level of numbering at Heading 5 (A), (B) which will be indent in from Heading 4 (1cm like all the others above). I’ve assigned shortcut keys to all the headings above, but can you simplify them all and give them the following. Some of the authors use Macs, so whatever the equivalent is for a Mac, I think it would then be Option 1 etc: 1. Heading 1 (Alt 1) 1.1 Heading 2 (Alt 2) (a) Heading 3 (Alt 3) (i) Heading 4 (Alt 4) (A) Heading 5 (Alt 5) Lastly, when you create a new document, can you please set up a dialog box or field or something that gives the author the option to choose one of these options and places it in the footer: INTERNAL USE ONLY CONFIDENTIAL HIGHLY PROTECTED You will see in the template where we want that to go.
