(Wordpress) - jquery script doesn't work on window resize in combination with window size

Hello, Ik have a little script that appends a div to my Wordpress menu when the window size is less then 1024px. The script works fine but doens't fire on window resize. Only when i refresh the page the appended div shows up. Line 9 of the attached file! Can anyone quick fix this?

Hello there and good afternoon , i read your project about script not working on screen resize , this happens cause the javascript is being loaded on first load so the <= 1024 is being counted just on refresh and not when you resize :) send me a message on chat to discuss it further :)
