I have been working in the field for over 7years, and have obtained a diverse experience in areas such as high-end residential, collegiate, civic and public projects, retail, sustainability and hospitality. I took an early interest in sustainable design, and became one of the youngest professionals in the country to receive LEED accreditation (the nationally recognized certification system for ‘Green’ buildings). I have obtained my architectural license in the state of NJ and NY (pending), with the ability to quickly receive licensure in additional states. I have worked on projects in NY, NJ, PA, CA, and CT among others and am versed in both state and local building codes as well as national energy codes and Title 24. I have become a resident expert on the California Green Building Code (CalGreen), having completing training on the intricacies of the system. My work ranges from early concept design and programming through Construction Documentation and Administration. I am able to provide full architectural services as well as hand sketches, physical models, 3D work and graphic design. I am experienced with complex details and design problems, and bring my full range of skills to ensure a smooth project. While I have a strong background in liberal arts and classical design, I often look to the latest in technology to provide a modern approach to the field. I am highly experienced in computer drafting as well as Building Information Modeling, 3D and graphic design, and use these tools to provide clear and understandable presentations in a timely manner.
