All the STC departments run two main servers one is Intergraph server (running in all government departments including Telecomm, Electricity, Water works and Immigration and Passport Departments over Saudi Arabia) and other being local to STC only. STC has several departments and the ones that were concerned with us were Planning, Engineering, Construction, Finance and Stores. The system was to integrate all the departments for centralizing the access of all the plans developed on Autocad by the Planning and Engineering Department. STC issues the plans to their 'authorized' contractors and contractors then submit the bills and 'as-built' of the plan according to which they are being issued the money.
