Cultural Detective Online - A CakePHP Application
This application implements the theory and methodology of Cultural Detective, a tool to better understand and work with global communities and cultures. Being subscription based, users can join as individuals or in groups. Dynamic online worksheets complement each package and the user can work on his skills as an individual or in a group. All worksheets can be saved and later edited, viewed or printed as a pdf. Group members can share their work with other group members. They have the option to create their own case studies for discussion and share it with others subject to the Group Administrators approval. The Self Discovery package helps an individual to analayze oneself. This application, both frontend and backend is entirely developed on CakePHP. All aspects of the application are custom built from scratch. This project was developed in phases, with an overall cost of over USD 10000 and growing. We continue to add new features to this application based on client needs.
