I am holder of BSc in Engineering and Post Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering ( Heavy current) from University of Kinshasa.
I have a project management qualification from The George Washington University, School of Business.
I am Pr. Eng. (ECSA) and member of SAIEE and have 29 years of engineering and project management.
I worked for MIBA, a Mining Company in Kasai Region/DRC from 1989 to 2007, managing energy production and maintenance and servicing of hydro power plants, diesel power plants for the company, transmission and distribution networks and mining process plants.
I also worked for ABB SA (PTY) LTD from September 2007 to April 2019 as ABB global certified Project Manager. I have a strong project background and have delivered several turn-key, refurbished and/or upgraded projects in South Africa, Zambia and in the Democratic Republic of Congo in power sector. I have dealt with various types of contracts such as NEC2, NEC3, FIDIC.
Through my career, I have enough exposure to various electrical systems designs, their installations and operations including but not limited to production of energy (hydro Power plants, Wind turbines, solar and Diesel generators), transmission and distribution lines and reticulation, medium and high voltage substations, earthing calculations, solutions for flexible alternative current systems (FACTS), protection and controls. I am certified service engineer for FACTS projects, in which solar control systems are designed and serviced.
Holder of Project management certificate, I have the competency to investigate a project in terms of contract and contractual documents, scope, budget and time, including the risks involved and other key performance indicators such safety, quality and environmental management. I am a team player and team builder.
I have a good writing and speaking ability of English and French
