## BIO Some projects I have worked on: Design and development of high volume transaction processing components for website. Data Architect for SQL databases. Mentor for others learning to use SQL databases. Responsible for design and development of back-end components and SQL databases that supports the e-Commerce functionality of the [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] web sites. Integrated customer account and sales transaction information with existing SQL Server based Great Plains accounting software. Solution allows for the Great Plains accounting system to be shut down for extended periods of time without having an adverse effect on the operation of the live site. Solution also allows for upgrading the accounting back-end components without bringing down the live site. Tools / Technologies used in solution: Visual C++, COM+ (ATL, Multithreading, Dual Interfaces), MSMQ, COM+ Queued Components, COM+ Security, COM+ Transactions, COM+ Object Pooling, Win32 API, ADO, SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, XML (XSLT, Microsoft Parser, DOM), and MS Clustering. Responsible for design and implementation of an indexing engine and keyword search engine for the [login to view URL] web site. The indexing engine parses and indexes job descriptions and skill sets from eRoles when they are entered into the system. The keyword search engine allows for keyword searches of the eRoles that are currently in the system. Less than 100 ms response times for all searches. Tools / Technologies used in solution: SQL Server, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures. Responsible for design and implementation of geography matching engine portion of B2B project. Project involves receiving job openings in the form of XML from business partner, and translating to an eRole in our system. Job openings from business partner have latitude and longitude coordinates indicating the geographic location of the job opening. The solution involves comparing the specified coordinates to the coordinates of geographic locations in the PerfectAgent system. Either an exact match is found, or a list of the five closest locations is returned.
