I have forty two years' experience in education and training, serving the Jamaican and United States governments, with special expertise in organizational development, project management, educational leadership, public sector policy, and change management. . I am also a highly respected Trainer and Consultant in Jamaica and the Caribbean region. My most challenging task in the Jamaican public sector involved leading the transformation of the Management Institute for National Development (MIND) from a bureaucratic department of Government to become one of the first four executive agencies under the Public Sector Modernization Program. I was recognized as one of the public sector women at the top. I am an excellent facilitator of management development training courses. I am competent in writing Scopes of Work, and will manage the project management process from project design through project implementation, and project evaluation. I teach and write English well and for the past 14 years I have worked to improve early literacy in poor performing Jamaican public primary schools.
