Bird Watching Article/Blog Post

I wrote this for a Freelancer.com contest, which was cancelled before I had a chance to submit my entry. I was very disappointed because I think this article/blog post would have attracted a lot of readers. The assignment was to write an article (300 - 600) words about bird watching and to use the company's name. They made some suggestions -- tips for bird watching, etc. -- but I chose to feature a real-life couple who have been bird watching for more than 50 years. Paul and Claudia are our former neighbors, and I enjoyed interviewing them and learning about a subject I knew very little about. This article shows my originality, my ability to do research and my writing style, which is clear and succinct. The final piece is 566 words, yet I think get across a lot of good information for a beginning bird watcher. I hope you enjoy reading this. If you need articles or blog posts like this -- on just about any topic -- please keep me in mind.
