Experienced Sound Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the animation industry. Skilled in Sound Design, Live Sound, Sound Effects, Sound Art, and Music Production. Graduated from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with degrees in Music Studies and Music Technology. Master's Degree in Music Technology and Live Electronics. Thanos is also a Voice Actor, a Vocalist and a Vocal Coach. He has a diploma of contemporary singing and at this time he studies classical singing as a tenor. In addition to his music studies, he studied music theory and piano. Thanos Nikolopoulos has many artistic activities in the area of music. As a musicologist specialized in music technology he has: Been working as a freelance Sound Designer , making the sound design for animation clips for a French company called "Amuse Network" since 2016. Been working as a freelance Sound Engineer at the Laboratory of Music Acoustics & Technology of the University of Athens since 2016. Created and controlled the Live Electronics for a dance-music show called "Salome" (based on Salome by Oscar Wilde) , performed at the National Theater of Greece (2018). Created a Sound Library consisting of 500 samples of Rock Vocals (2014). Conducted a seminar themed “The operation and use of microphones” (2014). Worked as a Radio Producer in the Greek radio stations “Pepper 96.6” and “Up Radio 88.6” (2014). Co-produced a documentary about a Greek composer and conductor, Theodore Antoniou, titled “Theodore Antoniou: Audiovisual Portrait” Produced a small Radio Drama based on a book of Georgios Vizyinos called “The Only Journey of His Life” (2013). As a vocalist and perfomer he has: Worked as a choirist in a choir called "Voice Box" and performed in an opera called "Amahl and the Night Visitors" at the Athens Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall (2018). Worked as a vocal instructor in contemporary singing (2015). Worked as a musical performer, in the rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar”, performing the role of “Jesus” in 2012 and performing the role of “Pilate” Attended 2 seminars about Professional Musical Theater Performance. Worked as a choirist in: i) an acapella group called “Voice-Box” (2016). ii) a professional choir of the Greek artist Yannis Parios, and performed at the Odeon of Herodus Atticus and at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall
