I may not always be the lowest bidder, developing software is how I make a living, my bids are calculated by estimating the effort involved and apply an hourly rate to that estimate. Additionaly I develop interfaces to these systems via a web portal in either jsp or php along with clientside javascript and applets. Typically the systems I work with are data centric so I have excellent experience in data modelling, databases and sgml/xml.
