PROJECTS
Object Tracking System June 2006
Build a hardware platform for a video tracking system based on Close Circuit Camera. Develop a prototype of a video surveillance system, which can provide high-end video tracking functions based on a mobile server platform. Camera controlling software was implemented in Visual Basic. Camera functions like panning, tilting, zooming, focusing were also implemented.
RFID system for Postal Services Dec 2006
Simulated an RFID network using various antenna designs and Network analysis that result in automated tracking of the couriers in postal services. Proposed solutions for major disadvantages like limited range of the RFID system and positioning of Access points. A complete integrated solution on the physical and network level was presented in the paper.
Device for Improved Cognition during Use of a Cell Phone while Driving Nov 2006
Worked in a Team to estimate the market potential and complete financial analysis of the patented technology which converts cell phone sound to a different frequency and elevates the brain? level of concentration. Did a complete market survey and displayed the response through the help of
various charts and Graphs in Microsoft Excel.
Fiber Optic Network Design Dec 2005
Designed a Fiber Optic Network for the Engineering Department of my Undergraduate College. Simulated the output in MATLAB taking the effects of fiber non linearity? and dispersion and used dispersion compensated fibers to implement the design. WDM was used to maximize the capacity.
