Project was more than double over estimate (time and dollars) and was never finished. Programmer left to work on another project after pleading for an "emergecy payment" which I paid. He promised he'd be back in two weeks. It's been three weeks now with no communication from his end. The work that was done was done well, but the biggest items in the project were never finished and some never even started. The communication and quality of work were good prior to leaving for this other project, but ever since then I haven't heard a thing. Watch out for this person to low ball the hours in their quote just to get the job.
