We have a unique problem. We are supposed to deliver a Zentyal Ubuntu server to a client on an island. Their small ISP delivers the clients public static IP over a fiber network and requires the server is setup with a Tagged VLAN 1550 Interface. We have never tagged a VLAN port for an ISP before. We have implimented a menu system that allows us to change a menus orientation from Vertical to Horizontal by just changing a single variable. It works very well. This requires magento expert. We have two year old magento installation that is highly customized and should not be upgraded or it will break modified custom code. However, we have just upgraded our server environment and moved our Magento installation to the new server. It has now failed to start. The database is not corrupt and has been verified. We even dumped and restored t... It appears as though Magento is attempting to do a fresh install but is finding the tables already exist and fails. Of course we do not want it to attempt a fresh install anyway. We need a Magento expert who understands the relationship with MySql. We have invested a great deal of time developing a website framework using jQuery and jQuery UI as primary methods of achieving browser compatibility while enjoying the cool effects of that framework.
