I need someone to quickly take this and help me modify it so that I can run boxee/xbmc from the USB, not the apple tv. I want to mod the apple tv with the patch stick, but I dont want the apple tv to look like it was modded in the menus. I just want to put the usb in the back of the apple tv and run xbmc/boxee, and when the usb is not inserted in the apple tv, it boots regular into the proper apple tv interface. This should be very very easy for you linux guys.

Im writing a delphi 7 application for my Home Theater. I'm using XBMC media center and I want to display XBMC information on a secondary screen. My problem is that I can't connect to XBMC and retrieve the information I want to display like movie name, duration, fanart etc. I want someone to help me connect to XBMC and retrieve the information.
