Hi Guys, I've been building a working VB6 client to post data to a website using POST. It works perfectly, however when I go to a network that uses a proxy it says "connection forcefully refused". I am wanting someone who can edit the VB6 project so that it can POST Data through the WINSOCK using a proxy server. I cannot use FTP due to network restrictions and firewall this is why I opted for WinSock.

Dear sir i've been using VB for several years (in fact i used to devellope from Qbasic on DOS to Visual [login to view URL] passing by VB5, VB6 etc..) And i need to know some details what's the OS that your application runs on ? are you sure that you close the 1st connection (the one without a proxy) before trying to open a new one (with a proxy ) ? Hi, if the program work perfectly but error when using proxy, i'm sure this was due to different environmental factor. so, the problem is not the code, but your network (firewall, proxy configurations, etc). If you OK, first I will check the code, and if everything is fine then allow me to access your server remotely. cheers, Amarzan
