Expert Assistance Required for AWS, JumpCloud, and WorkSpaces Integration

We are looking for an experienced CLOUD IT professional to help integrate our company's remote work system into AWS using AWS WorkSpaces. Our objective is to create a streamlined, secure remote working environment using AWS and JumpCloud as a single identity manager. We have already initiated the process but need expert assistance to complete the integration effectively and securely using industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Review and Refine Existing VPC Setup: - Evaluate the current AWS VPC setup, identifying and correcting any mistakes or inefficiencies. - Provide guidance on best practices and optimizations to ensure a robust and secure VPC environment. Client VPN Endpoint Setup for Administrative Access: - Establish a secure client VPN endpoint focused on administrative access within our AWS environment. - Enable controlled RDP and SSH access to our EC2 instances for system administration and Active Directory management. - Ensure the VPN setup is specifically for administrative tasks, including Windows Active Directory management, separate from our remote work infrastructure. Integration of JumpCloud with AWS Managed Active Directory: - Configure JumpCloud to seamlessly integrate with AWS Managed Active Directory. - Ensure efficient synchronization and management of user identities. AWS WorkSpaces Configuration: - Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) for AWS WorkSpaces using SAML 2.0, facilitated through JumpCloud. - Ensure a secure and user-friendly SSO experience for accessing AWS WorkSpaces. Requirements: - Proven experience with AWS SSO, AWS WorkSpaces, and Active Directory management. - Familiarity with SAML SSO integration in AWS environments a big plus. - Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Effective communication skills and the ability to document technical processes clearly. Additional Information: - The project is already underway with progress made in integrating JumpCloud for SSO into our AWS environment. Access to our AWS environment will be provided for the purpose of completing the setup. - The aim is to use JumpCloud as the primary identity manager, syncing identities for use in Active Directory which is linked to AWS WorkSpaces. We estimate the current progress to be around 70% complete.
