map of Europe SPREAD animation video

Hi there, I'm looking for someone to create a graphics animation as an intro to my youtube channel. The channel is about ancient Rome so i want to do something with the map of Europe and the mediterranean. The total lenght should not exceed about 6 seconds. Ideally i would like it to be like this: 1. show the map of Italy, with Rome in the centre of the map 2. gradually zoom out while some places on the map turn to red, to symbolise the expansion of the Roman empire 3. once the map has zoomed out to it's full size with the Roman empire reaching it's full size (from the tip of the Netherlands in the North until Egypt in the south, and Israel in the east) the map disappears - this can be a simple fade or a some other cool desintegration effect possibly 4. from here on im open for suggestions. What needs to happen now is that the logo appears (which consists of 2 words). Maybe the map of Europe fades out and leaves behind the logo, or the map of europe fades out while at the same time the logo fades in, or the logo gets written from left to right while the map fades out. Im not sure yet A great map to start with can easily be made on the website called snazzymaps (or i can send it to you, even multiple, one of each stage of zoom, pixel by pixel if needed). There you can turn off all land marks and names and just have a blank map to work with. The map can possibly have an old parchment look or maybe just keep it 'parchment colour' (yellowish brown). Not sure about this. Open for ideas. Anyway the difficulty of the work is in creating the spread of colour over the map while zooming out at the same time, and not get it too look clunky or cheap. Of course i will supply all information about which regions should turn red and in what order (or search on youtube). Im quite handy with paint 3D and the likes and can demonstrate accurately on the map how i want the spread to happen. It's up to you to make it beautiful and SMOOTH, i am open to ideas how to portray this 'spread'. The spread can be 'artistically', meaning it doesn't have to be 100% (historically) accurate. I could imagine there's a tool where a circle gradually grows bigger over time (and thus spreading the colour of the circle outwards). If this exists, this circle could be placed in Rome while it slowly grows over the rest of the Italian peninsula for example. This technique could be applied to most other regions in a similar way, with the exception of places where the border of the empire is (halfway through England and then along the river Rhine from the Netherlands to Switzerland) and then to the east, roughly put. Here the border can either be 'hard' or a gradation. Like i said, i'm open to ideas and the limitations of technicalities. Let me know what you think you can do for me. If you could show me some of your work or tell me what technique you could use to create this 'spread-effect' to convince me you're the right person and neither one is wasting time, i'd greatly appreciate that.
