We are a media agency and are looking for a creative editor to work on an ongoing basis. Looking for a long-term comittment if we can agree on the right price. Please quote me considering this is ongoing and high-volume (bulk) work. You will need to be available 5 days a week if needed, and able to edit 8-10 articles a day (500 words each) if needed.
What we are looking for:
-US/UK school-educated or English is your native language- must have excellent proficiency
-Must be able to to creatively edit: this means that you will get articles that are lacking in use of words, grammar or tone and you have to come up with better ways to say it, not just simple editing. Sometimes the original writer is not proficient in english and you will need to ensure the article is perfect grammar-wise, creative, and enjoyable to read, even if that means changing it significantly or writing sentences of your own to include.
-Must be a self-starter, able to problem-solve, handle criticism professionally and enjoy working in a past-paced environment.
-We're looking for someone to permanently join our team so we would like to find the right person for this long-term comittment. Someone who enjoys a joke, can take conversations in a light-hearted manner, and is an all around good person is essential.
