C - Linux Process_ID project

I have read the project description very well, and i would like to complete this project. lets complete this project

I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. Hi, we can use /proc infrastructure to get the list of processor and its executable name. proc folder to read executable name is in general having read permission for all. If some privileged process with no read access to process information will fail to retrieve information if the running user isn't a privileged user. Thanks!

This is ultimately a very small piece of code. But it depends on the particulars of your particular Linux flavor and version. I programmed in C for 10 years and I've worked with a large number of different version numbers and types of UNIX and Linux. So I'm sure I'd have no problem with your type and I've probably done a program like this for a model of UNIX that was very similar to yours. Ultimately I think this would be a very easy project for me that I could finish within the course of a day.

Please provide more details about the requirement as to what all are the inputs and what are the outputs required. A lot of information is present in the /proc file system so need more clear definition of the outputs required. Thanks, Nilanjan

Hi, There are system calls available in Linux and UNIX to read the process table like getprocs. Use them to list out all the processes that are running on the system. Thanks & Regards, Rajeev
