I am looking for an expert in ANSI C Linux programming to work on an RETE rules engine project. This project is part of more complex software. The project logical working must reflect the following points: 1. Reading "simple events" from a DB table 2. Composing "complex events" (UNION or INTERSECTION of "simple events") through a RETE algorithm (and external ruleset) 3. Logging this "complex events" on DB 4. Always using RETE algorithm (and external ruleset, different from previous), processing "complex events" returning the string defined on the fired rule. Where possible, available open source software could be used. If this is your field of expertise and you are capable of delivering working code, please get in touch for more details.
