The device is equipped with a 1-wire DS2408 8-channel adressable switch. It transfers the 256 possible states of the switch to an output-voltage of 0-10V. Each channel has following values: channel 0 1 channel 1 2 channel 2 4 channel 3 8 channel 4 16 channel 5 32 The outputs are read by a Microcontroller an transfered to the analog output automatically. All outputs 0 = 10V output voltage all outputs 1 (or 255 decimal or ff hex) = 0V output voltage The logic is inverted. The active outputs are summed up according to their values (see chart) an set as the according analog value at the output of the device. note: After switch on the device starts from Standby to normal-mode, after one time a voltage lower 10v has been set. Stand by is indicated as following: DATA LED is flashing and output is 0V

Hello! I have wide experience in developing MCU based systems. So, I can provide good solution for you. You need Digital to Analog Converter, using DS2408, as I understand . Input value is 8 digital pins (value 0-255) and output (0-10V). Are you going to use R-2R DAC after DS2408? Right? My bid includes developing firmware and testing on a simulator.
