I need an optimization program. İn the attached sample sheet. I have 1928 cotton bales. I need to divide and mix them optimum quality. Every bales have 4 properties for quality. (Strength, color vs..) If we work on sample : I need to divide items by the given number. For example I give 74 => I have 1928 / 74 = 26 groups. but the groups averages must be very very close to all items averages for 4 options. for further questions please contact with me..

Hello! I think we need to do some cluster analysis before applying genetic algorithm. This will simplify the selection and group mutations. I'm not sure but maybe after clustering it will be possible to apply simple combinatorical search based on some heuristic instead of evolutionary search.
