Merging audio streams using NAudio in C#

I'm searching for a skilled C# Developer with expertise in NAudio. Our goal is to mix an audio output stream coming from the PC system, with the input stream of a microphone, in real-time, and transmit it over a WebSocket. We already have the code that provides the output stream and the input stream. The focus is on creating a mix and stream it to the Web Socket. We already have a mix, and can stream it to the web socket, but the mixed audio sounds like it switches between 2 streams, and sometimes drops sound, and sometimes plays too slow. Project Details: Audio Format: The output buffer is in 16,000 Hz, 1 channel, 16-bit WAV file format. Example Project: We will provide an example project you can work with. This includes code that has already been developed. The project is encountering a few issues that need resolution as described above. Current Issues: - Pauses Issue: No pauses are available due to the imported silence function. This may need adjustment or the silence function should be deleted. - Distortion/Slow Motion: Significant distortion or slow-motion occurs when recording for a second time. - Switching Issue: When the input switches to output in the buffer or vice versa, the recording experiences slow motion at that point. Objective: The primary objective is to achieve a seamless and perfectly mixed output and input stream into a single stream, that is reliable for long streams (think: an hour or more). This involves addressing the identified issues and ensuring that the audio playback is synchronized without distortion. Deliverables: Modified code resolving the mentioned issues. Requirements: Proficiency in C# development. Experience with NAudio. Strong understanding of audio streaming and synchronization.
