A bracket design for garage door sensor

This project is for design a bracket which will be used to install average garage door sensor. The sensor and the magnet size are dynamic and so the bracket should make such a way where any sensor size up to 1” - 3” in length can be used. There should be option for the adjustment to position the sensor. The goal is, once sensor and the magnet is placed; the sensor and the magnet are parallel to each other when the door is closed and when the door is closed the gap between the sensor and magnet cannot be more than 0.5” - 1.5” inches. This gap between the sensor and magnet must be adjustable. It is important to point out that the distance between sensor and the magnet must not change as the door will go up and down due to everyday use and they must always stay parallel, otherwise sensor will not work properly. The bracket may be made of hard plastic or/and metal. The bracket can be made for one or two doors sensors. If the same bracket can be used for two sensors for two doors, that can be mount on the wall between two doors.
