Prepare a report that identifies, discusses and evaluates how the ideas from any two functions of management (i.e. from planning, organising, leading or controlling) can be used by managers to ensure ecologically sustainable management values and practices occur in their organisation. (You may select any organisation). ## Deliverables For this work, I require: (a) a one page (approximately 250 word) draft executive summary of report worth 5%. The purpose of this draft is to ensure students have an early start on planning, researching and drafting their final report. It is not designed to give feedback on your plans. (See marker’s assessment of assignment 2a - at end of this Unit Outline). (b) a 2250 word final report (including executive summary) worth 25%. (See marker’s assessment and feedback sheet for Assignment 2b - at end of this Unit Outline). In the report you must include the: Title page and Table of Contents Introduction (20%): This *indicates the purpose of your report *introduces your real or imaginary organisation *identifies and briefly describes concepts of ecologically sustainable management values and practices in organisations *indicates which functions of management you will be considering in the next section *identifies the plan of the report. Discussion (40%): This is the main part of your report. Here you will identify, discuss and evaluate your two (of POLC) management theories and their related concepts that managers can use to ensure ecologically sustainable management values and practices occur in their organisation. A good analysis (in the discussion section) will include consideration of the factors that support and constrain the management and/or organisation’s response to the ensuring ecologically sustainable management values and practices occur in their organisation. Conclusion (10%):This is where you draw your conclusion about the best way managers can manage ecologically sustainable management values and practices in the organisation identified in the introduction above. Recommendations (10%): Finally, make about five short recommendations that you suggest the organisation/manager should implement. Quality(10%):You must use academic journal resources and suitable language and grammar.
