Technical Documentation for ActiveX Component

My company has authored an ActiveX component (OCX) and we have written a help file (MS .CHM HTML HelpWorkshop project) and we have covered *all* the methods and properties. The problem is that the format of the help file looks amateurish, plus the descriptions are not long enough, and their is very little sample code snippets or method/property information. In short, we have a cheesy help file that needs to be polished up and made new again, with more descriptions and examples, links, topics, etc. **_Details_** This project has ~100 properties and methods. It is a COM charting component. The technical writer (you) will need to communicate with me via Instant Messaging. _I will be available all the time while you are working on this._ You will ask me questions and ask me for code snippets and I will supply them to you. I will supply you with the Microsoft HTML Help WorkShop, existing HTML pages, graphics, marketing text, etc. **_Qualifications _**You must be a professional technical writer and supply me with a few examples of your previous HTML Help projects (.chm projects). I would expect this job to take no more than 3 or 4 days (if we were to do this in house). If you wish to see our existing documentation I will reply to you _**privately**_ with a Zip file. Thank you and good luck! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Win32
