The project is the following: Its an imaginary Medicine Vending machine and the theoretical design looks something like this: Main Menu: Purchase Medicine Technician Menu Exit Technician Menu: Login Return to Main Menu Login: Prompt for username Prompt for password Validate against credentials file If valid: Display Technician menu: Restock Machine Service Machine Reports Logout If invalid: Print error Prompt to try again Purchase Medicine: Display menu of available medicines (loop through medicine array to print names, prices) Prompt for medicine selection (validate in range of array) Prompt for payment amount (validate > 0) Check if payment >= medicine price If no, prompt for more payment If yes: Dispense medicine, print message Update quantity for medicine in array Calculate change owed Print receipt showing medicine name, price paid, change given Update total sales accumulator Write purchase log to file including date, medicine, price Restock Machine: Purchase Medicine: Display menu of medicines Prompt for medicine to restock Validate selection is in medicine array Prompt for restock quantity Update quantity for that medicine in array Print confirmation of restock Write restock log to file including date, medicine, added quantity Calculate total inventory value based on prices and quantities in arrays Service Machine: Print current total sales amount Analyze medicine array to find most quantity sold, print medicine name Check quantities and print medicines needing reorder if quantity below threshold Reports: Print total lifetime sales Print most popular medicine overall Print most popular each month (read purchases file and tally by month) Print summary of inventory including medicine names, prices, quantities. The poject should include a variety of these functions: menus, results, validations, arrays, data procesing (greatest or lowest, average) , counters, accumulators, calculations, pointers and use of files.
