Virtual Assistant Needed - American or Filipino only

This is one of the ways we can determine whether or not the prospective provider understands and follows directions. We do not escrow money because it is too big of a hassle so if you require that to do a job don't bother bidding. You can read our feedback and see that we are prompt payers and, in addition, we are extremely easy to work for as long as you do a good job. Do not put in a high bid or an escrow requirement because these are automatic disqualifications as well. Good English (preferably with American emphasis) is vital to this job. I need a virtual assistant for occasional work. I have several projects each month that are simple, usually web research and preparation of a memo or spreadsheet to me. Occasionally some other duties, but mostly research and data mining with entry into Excel or a memo. The job starts at $ 7.50 an hour so no need to bid higher than that as it will be an automatic DQ. If you do good, accurate, and timely work the pay will go up plus I occasionally give bonuses but they are definitely not guaranteed. I do not pay for incorrect work so it is important that you understand the project before beginning. What this means is that I will send you the assignment via email and you will then be expected to write me back with the terms of the project in your own words so I am sure you understand. We pay once a month, on or about the 7th of the month, for work completed and turned in by the 28th of the previous month. We pay via PayPal. I have an ongoing relationship with several providers i have hired through Freelancer for a variety of projects and prefer to use the same people over and over. If you do well it is likely it will be a long term relationship with referrals when my friends need work done as well. I have some people I hired through Freelancer over a year ago that are still doing work for me. You will also occasionally get assignments from my family. Some are business related while others may be personal matters. We own a number of businesses, all internet related in some way, so the work will be varied and involve different topics. Need someone who can start work immediately. If you have prior VA experience tell me about it in your bid. Please, please don't say you want to work and then disappear. If you are awarded a job that means someone else won't be and there are a lot of people that need the work right now. I prefer someone that also has some writing skills and I would like to see an example of what you've written. If I find the right person this job may be awarded early.
