SORRY - I SHOULD HAVE SAID I NEED THIS PROJECT COMPLETED URGENTLY - IE. TODAY...Hi, I have an excel spreadsheet with approximately 7,500 lines of data. I need it separated into different files with a maximum of 100 lines of data per file. The reason is the software I am uploading the data into can only take 100 lines per file. Therefore, we will end up with 75 separate spreadsheets (saved as .csv). First it needs to be sorted by date and then take 100 lines in date order ensuring the dates don't overlap across two files. For example, if you start at 1 December and then trade number 99 is date 31 December and trade number 100 is 31 December then you would leave 31 December for the next file so you don't have 31 December across two files. I think a simple copy and paste is a good option. I did December splitting it in two files called December 1 of 2 and December 2 of 2. This means I know there are two files for December. It took a couple of minutes actually less, but I understand some months will take more as there may be multiple files per month. So let's say each file takes 3 minutes, which it won't, but I'm happy to pay for that then that's around 4 hours work. roughly. but I would rather it done properly than rushed, so I am happy to pay for a bit more than that too. I will send the file to the person doing the work...thanks. ALSO, I don't think you should take on this project if you don't have two computer screens as I did the first one and it was much easier to copy from the main excel on the main screen and dump into the second excel file on the second screen. thanks

I can split the info based on the info given. At the most you want 100 in a single file. However, if the date is splitting, the whole set of date need to be moved a different file.
