I would like data scraped from the horseracing site [login to view URL] Scroll down to the search box and type the name of the horse So Si Bon This horse recent runs are shown in full detail The data I need is listed below through my explanation of each column and as shown in the Excel attachment which has the information I copied from So So Bon’s career record. If it is easier to scrape all of what is published that is fine as I can delete extra information I do not need. Column 1 Race Result Column 2 Track where race took place Column 3 Date ( I prefer the order year, month, date i.e, If March 4 2023 I would like 230304) Column 4 Distance of race Column 5 Track Condition (how dry or wet the track is) Column 6 Race Name If an important or rich race will be in CAPITALS Column 7 Class (the class of the race where Group 1 is the best and Maiden the worst. If there is no class entry leave it blank. Other classes will usually start with BM?? where the ?? can be any number from mid 50s to 100. Open might be shown or maiden. Column 8 Value of Race (This is the total for the race: I do NOT want any figures that are in brackets beside this total) Column 9 Jockey name (OK to have Ms before name) Column 10 Weight carried Column 11 Barrier Column 12 Rtg (the rating of horse: higher the number the better the horse) Column 13 800m (position where this horse is in the race at the 800m) Column 14 400m (position where this horse is in the race at the 400m) Column 16 OPEN (the opening price of the horse which is the first of any figures shown in the fluctuations of the betting odds i.e. if $8 $12 $10 the figure I would like is the FIRST one $8) Column 17 CLOSE (the closing price of the horse which is the last of any figures shown in the fluctuations of the betting odds i.e. if $8 $12 $10 the figure I would like is the LAST one $10) Victorian tracks or a date range: They are Flemington, Sandown, Caulfield and Moonee Valley The date range is from May 1, 2018 to present.
