We are seeking skilled freelancers to assist us in collecting data for an exciting project. The data collection process involves recording audio utterances of user-names and nicknames, while adhering to specific requirements. This job post is for the collection of data from various age group segments and the accurate recording of name utterances. Here are the details of the job: Requirements: Language - US-EN Data should be collected from 4 age group segments: 12-20 21-50 50-65 65+ The distribution of data should be equal across the specified age ranges. The average number of names and nicknames per user-name should be 4, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8. This includes common greeting words like "hi," "hey," and "hai. Repeating the greeting word (e.g., "Hi," "Hey," etc.) for the same name and other names is allowed. However, avoid excessive repetition within the same speaker set. Each name segment should not exceed 1 second in duration. The distance between the speaker and the recording device should vary between 1, 3, 5, and 7 meters. Each speaker must cover a minimum of 3 distance positions. Some deviation in distance (e.g., 2.6 or 2.8 meters instead of exactly 3 meters) is acceptable to maintain naturalness. The speaker's volume should be natural and not overly loud. Record an average of five utterances per user-name at each position. EarBuds: Use Google Pixel (35%-50%) and other brands (65%-50%). No noise cancellation feature or processed files should be used. Recording speed should be normal. No padding is required at the start or end of the audio. Reject any recording with more than 1 second of silence. Each speaker should have 300 utterances recorded. Accuracy of timestamps for name utterances is crucial.
