Personnel Tracking Solution

Requirement: Employee Tracking (rough count 1000+) is to be done for a factory like [login to view URL] factory layout is given below with dimensions in meter. The tracking should be such that location of each employee can be tracked with precision. Expected Setup: The location tracking system is expected to provide the location of every employee at a given point of time( in a format similar to Lat-Long may be considered). The tracking system will give the output in a database format so that an existing ERP (using SQL) can pick the data for further processing. Since safety monitoring, controlled access & work allocation is to be done by the ERP, hence tracking correct location is must. ERP making isn't in the present scope of work. Expected Features: The employee who removes the tracking device should be tracked. THE ERP will alert the administration. It is better to have battery operated tracking devices which are definitely liquid spill proof. If a group of 20-50 employees are in a particular area/room for certain reason, the system should be able to identify employees. Plant Layout: Added as attachment We are cost sensitive however precision of solution is equally important. Without accepted level so of precision taking this further wont be possible. Pl do revert with your suggestions/questions. For various logistical reasons we prefer (but not restricted to) an agency/freelancer from India. However, experts from everywhere are welcome to consider this project.
